RIGF 2016 participants to meet with IETF experts

04.04.2016

Participants will take part in a video conference with Buenos Aires

On April 4-8, the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aires will host the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) meeting. The IETF is an open international community of designers, scientists, network operators and providers engaged in protocol and Internet architecture development. Russian experts, including those from the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, participate in the community’s activities, contributing to the creation and development of Web standards.

This year, the date of the IETF meeting coincided with the RIGF. All RIGF participants will be able to learn about IETF activities and the technical standards of the Internet and developing the RFC. To do this, the RIGF Organizing Committee will hold a video conference with IETF experts who will briefly talk about the events at the IETF 95 and answer questions from the RIGF’s participants.

The video conference will conclude the RIGF 2016 and run 30-40 minutes. All RIGF participants are invited to take part.
